Kashmir has been on the news and world map for the disputes between India and Pakistan. But the reason for the conflict is because the landscapes are so beautiful. That’s what puts us on the valleys of Kashmir. The mountain trails, nature, the amazing fresh air which seems to be a luxury these days in every part of the earth, are what makes the place so exotic.
There are trillions of viewpoints in the valley. The iconic views of the snow capped mountains in the background, the Dal Lake in the foreground, alone is worth the trip. There are some beautiful Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are both exotic and historic. While the valley excites you, the real thrill awaits at the hill station of Gulmarg. Winter in Gulmarg is a paradise for skiers and snow enthusiasts. There will be white clouds above and beyond. And the Gondola ride to the top of the Mountain is where you savor all your favorite scenes and landscapes
Arrival at Srinagar and get an assisted transfer to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is a hill station in Kashmir. Quite an exotic location for the tourists to explore. You can check into the hotel. And then after refreshing go for an entire sightseeing tour through the hill station. The highest Gondola ride in the world is the main attraction. You can also go, for a sightseeing trip to the Lake of Khilanmarg. After the sightseeing trip; get back and chill at the resort for overnight.
Next morning after breakfast, start your journey towards Srinagar. You can enjoy lots of local sightseeing through Pari Mahal, Botanical Garden, Mughal gardens, Chesma Shahi, and the Shalimar gardens. Then you can choose to stay overnight at the exotic Dal lake in a proper houseboat or stay at the land resorts.
This morning early after the breakfast, you will be taking a day trip towards Sonamarg. The drive itself to Sonamarg is epic, as you will be greeted with rivers and fields, which are panoramic in every aspect. You can also take some local trips on your own like the visit to the Thajwas Glacier which is 4 km away. Return to Srinagar by evening for overnight stay.
After breakfast a fantastic day of sightseeing awaits you, as you move towards Pahalgam. On the way you can visit Awantipora Ruins and the Saffron fields. There are some amazing trekking routes which originate in Aru just 11 km from Pahalgam. There is also a valley called Beetab valley which is an adorable photo location. Both Aru and Beetab can only be reached with a local taxi. By evening get to the resort and chill for overnight stay
After breakfast, you can move towards the city of Srinagar and go for Shopping if the time schedule allows. Then board the flight for onward.
