The journey begins with changing landscapes and weather with the bus departure from Delhi in the evening, as you introduce yourself with the group at night that gets cooler as you inch closer to the Himalayas. And once you doze off, the hours fly away.
Reach Bhuntar early in the morning. Kasol is just 1.5 hours away from Bhuntar. The day can be spent on exploring the breathtaking beauty of Kasol. Soak in the pure & fresh air, carrying a woody-minty aroma and the splendid view of the roaring Parvati river, with a backdrop of the Himalayan peaks. Enjoy a stroll on the long stretches of white sand along the banks of the river, and nature lovers would especially love the groves of apple trees spread throughout the area. Or visit the local markets and restaurants to enjoy local cuisines. As many foreign tourists especially, the Israelis like to visit & stay at the adventure-friendly village of Kasol, restaurants here have started serving Israeli cuisines as well.
You can also visit the famous Manikaran Saheb – a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs (Gurudwara). The area is also famous for its hot springs offering natural cures for ailments, and its magnificent surrounding landscape. Come back to the hotel for a night stay at Kasol.
Early morning after breakfast we will start our trek to Rashol via Chalal (both small villages near Kasol). Enjoy the splendid views of the valley throughout the trek. Blue and colorful sky bows down over the glorious Himalayas. Clouds wander flirtatiously in a chilly atmosphere adding to the dreamy quotient of the valley, as cool breeze criss crosses the narrow alleys acting as gateways to alluring mountain passes. This place is a traveler’s delight. Overnight stay at Rashol.
Early morning stretching will be conducted to keep you flexible throughout the day. This is relatively a difficult stretch and will consume almost full day. The trek is full of panoramic views which will leave you mesmerized. Keep your cameras ready for this one, as you don’t want to miss some great captures. Options for only camping are available here. Overnight stay at Waichin Valley.
Have a relaxing morning, enjoy the sunrise at Magic Valley. Heading towards Malana- the solitary village in the Malana Nala (a side valley of the parvati valley to the north east of Kullu valley), is isolated from rest of the world and the most visited destination. Have a glimpse of the lives of the local people of Malana, who strongly believe that they are the descendants of Alexander, and belong to the pure Aryan race. From having quite distinct facial features, to distinct dialect and rituals, Malanis (the inhabitants of Malana) admire their culture, customs and religious beliefs. Come back for an overnight stay at Malana.
The day begins with unguided trek to Jari from Malana. Jari is the place from where we board to our traveler and departure from Jari the same day to reach Delhi in the next morning. The Himalayan trip reaches its end, and you are definitely going home with some awesome memories.
